Is it not okay to talk to high school girls?

I am a 19 year old college student, and I am taking a course this summer at my school. There are hundreds of high school kids who are doing the summer program at my school, and I see a lot of good-looking girls. Undergrad students, except for RAs, are not allowed to interact with high school kids. There’s one girl I see at the dining hall everyday, and I find her really charming. I really really want to talk to her, but I haven’t talked to her because I don’t wanna get in any troubles and I don’t want the girl to be sent home. I have no bad intentions, but I really do wanna have a conversation. Is it not okay? I am just hoping that she comes to my school in 2 years.

there is no big deal TALKING with someone. just don’t let things get too serious because you are 19 and anyone under 18 would be illegal.

I would say hi! maybe you would end up being great friends. but i have to say If you are thinking of ANYTHING romantic or of dating her or something at this time it is NOT OK! but if you JUST want to be friends, there’s nothing wrong with that.

No, it could leed to trouble once you graduate from high school you should continue to date/or have friends within you own age or group…

It might turn out to be a small problem only b/c of the age difference so you might have to keep it on a friend basis until she turns 18

Be careful - if she’s under age. You don’t want to get you or her in trouble.
Talking to her is no big deal … but if you are looking for more that that I’d stay away.

Id say your limit should be 16.. but a chat is harmless.. itl seem to the teachers that your just being nice. Get her sent home and shel never want to talk to you!

You are in one of the most insidious predator categories because you are in denial about your motivations.
Let the girl enjoy her summer and try to meet a girl in your age group. Leave her alone.

its ok. ur only 19. she is what.17?? its only 2 years apart. theres nothing wrong with it. the only thing u should be worried about is if she would date a 19 year old. it doesnt matter wut everybody else thinks. u should talk 2 her before its too late.

If she is close to your age I don’t see anything wrong with it except you mentioned you are not to interact with high schoolers so you don’t want to do anything to get you or her kicked out. Maybe you can wait until the last day she is there and then approach her and ask her for her number or email address. And then take it from there.
